ELDERBERRY HONEY BREAD PUDDING WITH VANILLA SAUCE

• 5 cups cubed day-old bread (brioche or challah is ideal)
• 2 cups milk
• 2 eggs
• 1/3 cup Honey in the Hollow Elderberry Infused Honey
• 2 tbsp butter, melted
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp salt
• optional: 1/2 cup raisins or dried cherries
Vanilla Sauce (optional):
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 tbsp butter
• 1 tbsp Honey in the Hollow Elderberry Infused Honey
• 1 tsp cornstarch and 1 tbsp water
Cooking Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a baking dish.
2. Whisk milk, eggs, Honey in the Hollow Elderberry Infused Honey, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, salt.
3. Toss bread (and fruit if using) with custard; rest 10 minutes.
4. Bake 40–45 minutes until center is set.
5. For sauce: add warm milk, butter, honey; thicken with cornstarch slurry; drizzle.
